Tennis bet predictions for Martin Klizan - Tobias Kamke
On Sunday, the qualifiers of the tennis tournament in Sofia from the ATP 250 category started. One of the most interesting matches is between Martin Klizan from Slovakia and Tobias Kamke (Germany).
The Sofia Open semi-finalist of 2016 Martin Klizan will participate for the third consecutive year of the tournament in the Bulgarian capital. The Slovak, however, collapsed in the world rankings and this year it started from the qualifying of the tournament. Martin Klizan is fourth in the qualifying scheme, led by German Florian Meyer, who is rival John-Patrick Smith of Australia in the first round.
Martin Klizan is 28 years old and is currently ranked 146th in the world rankings. He had problems last season and did not play in a lot of tournaments because of injuries. In Sofia Klizan reached the 1/4-finals, where he was eliminated by Nikoloz Basilashvili. Klizan then started from the first round of the tournament, but now he will have to go through the qualifiers in order to win the main circuit. This season Martin Klizan started at the Challenger Tour in France, where he was eliminated in the second round of the race by Tristan Lamasine after defeat with 1:2 sets.
Tobias Kamke is more experienced than the two tennis players, but his ranking is worse - 235th. The German played a lot more matches this year, but his results are not impressive. Kamke failed to qualify for the tournament in Melbourne and dropped into a second round of Dennis Kudla after losing 0-2 sets. By the end of January, Tobias Kamke also performed poorly at the Chalden tournament in Rennes, where he again dropped out of qualifying and this time still in the first round after losing by 0:2 sets by Konstantin Kravchuk, which is number 300 in the ATP rankings.
Martin Klizan should have a strong presence in front of the Bulgarian audience, where he remembers with good his two participations in the tournament in 2016 and 2017. In my opinion, the Slovakian will win the match and will qualify for the second round of qualifying.
